About Us

The business that is now FoodFlo International was bought by the Managing Director John Cox, in 1975, and has grown steadily since then to become the thriving enterprise that it is today.

For many years it was run as a partnership, then from 2001 as a company called SweetFoods Ltd. In 2007, the name of the company was changed to FoodFlo International Ltd. It is now very much a family business, with John's four sons and daughter all working in various positions of responsibility in the company.

Over the years we have grown through our ability to go to any lengths to ensure our customers get what they want when they want it. We are totally committed to long-term relationships with our customers- some we have been supplying since taking over the business in 1975, and a number for nearly 20 years.

Food Safety/Quality Programme

At FoodFlo, we take the quality and safety of the products we manufacture very seriously. We run a Quality and Food Safety Programme, which is regularly externally audited against, and meets, the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety, with an A grading. This is one of the most stringent Food Safety Standards in the world, and demonstrates our committal to producing top quality safe food products.

Sustainable Palm Oil Policy

As part of our commitment to the protection of the environment, we only use Sustainable Palm Kernel Oil in our products. This means that the plantations are farmed in a sustainable manner with care and consideration for the environment, and the oil is kept strictly segregated throughout the entire production process.

Location

food_flo_map.jpgFoodFlo is situated in the provincial centre of Pahiatua, in the lower North Island of New Zealand.

It is a strategic location logistically, being very near the transport hub of Palmerston North, as well as in between two of New Zealand's busiest ports - Wellington and Napier.

We also have a warehouse situated in Melbourne where we store our most popular products, to enable us to supply our valued Australian customers x-stock, elimating the need for indent ordering with long lead times!
